Marcia and Zach flew in from Washington state to brave the cold this week for their engagement session! Though it was my chilliest shoot to date, we had a wonderful time meandering around the downtown area finding nooks and crannies with fab light!
Marcia, born and raised in Los Angeles, and Zach, born and raised in Wisconsin, first crossed paths while attending graduate school there. Zach actually lost her number a few times, but things worked out for them in the end! Zach is now finished with his Master's degree, while Marcia is pursuing her Ph.D. (all while planning a May 2009 wedding!). I am so impressed!

{ Marcia + Zach }
Getting used to the camera and the cold...loved this shot -
Another amazingly beautiful bride-to-be -
Another handsome groom-to-be -
I adore this shot, though I'm still in a bit of denial that our sunset was at 3:30!
The California girl survived, and poor Zach...as he put it,
living on the coast must have softened him. Haha!
Marcia + Zach - It was so fun finally getting to meet you and hang out a bit!!! I hope it didn't take you too long to warm up! I had a wonderful time--thank you both again for such a stellar shoot. You were great! Can't wait for next May! :) Carly

Carly,
We absolutely loved the pictures. We look wonderful. You were able to capture the "real" us. I can't believe how fun the shoot was for us. We are so happy that you will be capturing our wedding day.
Marcia
